May 19 - Time Cycle
Takes an inordinate amount of time leaving the house, Finishing orchestration to Elijah Rock: VIII. Baal (The Prophets of Baal and the People),
briefly stopping with Harriet at local bistro (with views across the valley of the English Hills and Vaca Mountains partially occluded)
and again in Contra Costa
near Diablo
(after having blitzed by increasingly-summer-like Eden et al),
finishing off the grading of papers for the History class, breaking for an inordinately slow cup of coffee at the bookstore, opposite the Music Building, finally recording Elijah: VIII. Last evening session -- from the Police through Panic at the Disco, including excerpts from Mice and Men, Camino Real, and The Pied Piper of Hamelin. Home relatively early, beginning instrumental version of Elijah: IX. Roar (Elijah and the People).
