October 20 - The Fog Clears

Harriet out on another job (at least there's work), while there's work to be done here on 21st-Century Music,

then out with the stratus hanging on the Sulfur Springs,

beyond Eden

and the Suburbs to

Diablo Valley for dictation on first eight bars of Kurt Weill's Ballad of Mac the Knife from The Threepennny Opera (also finishing up the Disney Sergei Prokofiev Peter and the Wolf, plus June's Song from Henry Miller in Brooklyn),

back and forth briefly to correct papers and gather videos past the slanting Lagoons

and darkly illumined traffic for evening class's adventures from Ludwig van Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 to Richard Wagner's Tristan und Isolde,

home for revelations, doing publication preparation and visual libretto to Sex and the Bible: The Opera (Part I)... from Abraham and Isaac...II. The Separation (second strain), compose page 6 of Pini di Surriento: IV. Torna a Via Appia, and begin the orchestration of

The Gospel According to St. Matthew: XXIV. Beelzebub.
