November 15 - Sex and the Auditions

Print up the piano-vocal scores to Sex and the Bible: The Opera (Part I) at Copy World in Berkeley, and the bill is on the order of three times cheaper than it would have been at the Enterprise Formerly Known as Kinko's, which, ever since its change of ownership has been plummeting downhill, so, now that they've officially divested themselves of their honored name, that's it...

Before this over the hills, far away from St. John Mine Mountain, and during, there's

a pilgrimage to the Cheese Steak Shop while the 12 books (one for each of the sons of Jacob) are being bound, then off to Chamber Arts for

San Francisco Cabaret

Opera auditions, and, co-incidentally we have (for awhile) exactly 12 singers (though counting Harriet, myself, a latecomer, and those who are interested but can't attend today, there are more -- also great to have Jerry Kuderna as our accompanist du jour). Do the dance, song, and speil re the opera (through Lot's Daughters' seductions), and head back (now knowing exactly how far the new car can go when the gauge hits blinking "e") to orchestrate page 3 of The Gospel According to St. Matthew: XXVIII. The Parables and touch base with Bette and George.
