It's the day of Crystal and Christina's ceremony, with Harriet, George, Bette, Sorrel,



seemingly half the choir of First Presbyterian Church San Rafael,


Carolyn's family, grown-up day-care kids, Montessori friends,



a plethora of bridesmaids, and many friendly others for



the main event (officiated by second-cousin John Gill).



Before enlightenment, the chop-wood-carry-water is house-cleaning, car-reorganization, lightbulb replacements, storage-reorganization, barber-stop, tuxedo-purchase, Garbage Ensemble mixes of Job: IV. Why Not Curse God and Die and V. Place a Curse, and Harriet's dash north from San Jose after a job to arrive just in time for us to head back southwest together to



Marin.



After is a return through Jameson Canyon, a phone call to Bette, and four pages of orchestration for



Job: VI. Man Is Born to Suffer".

January 12 - Dreams of Destiny

More importations of midi files from Encore to Sibelius and they kinda work, so am able to proceed apace with orchestration of Samson and Delilah (The Frank Judges): XXIII. Disunity (through page 20), the music now alluding to not only to Lot, but also to Balaam and Adonibezak -- does any of this make sense?...



Crystal does, and we get together for a nice lucid chat at a Marin Italian spot, after which the post box is checked and there are a number of greetings -- much appreciated! Plus an added bonus of a warm late afternoon (potentially record-breaking 72, with "norther" winds coming down the Sacramento Valley)...

September 5 - Crystal Clear and Otherwise

Looking forward to getting together with Crystal (who is in town on break, already planning her wedding to Christina this August), next Monday.



This gives me further impetus to get my belated gift recordings together, including preparing the second of the all-Mark-voice Mice and Men CDs, admittedly, purely demo (what with the pitch-shift to approximated Curley's Wife), yet, at times, apparently, purely demonic...
